2016-17 EPL Multi Week 16
While the mid-week round of EPL might through some schedules and player training regimes out of whack, it doesn’t affect our EPL Multi of the Week, which is back for Round 16.
To kick things off we’ll be taking Arsenal to beat the struggling Everton. Arsenal are in ridiculous form at the moment, the only reason more people aren’t excited by this form is the fact that Chelsea are doing one better. The play of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil is inspired and between them, they are scoring and assisting goals for fun. Even though they’ll travel to Everton this week, the Gunners road record has been superb so far this season, going undefeated through seven games. Everton on the other hand are living rent free in struggle street at the moment, they’ve won only 1 of their last 10 and are slowly sliding down the table after being 1st after Week 5.
For our second leg, we like Liverpool to win on the road against a Middlesbrough team that has only won three games on the season so far. While they sit just out of the relegation zone due to drawing six games, they have scored the fewest goals in the League, and come up against the team that has scored the most. Form would suggest that Liverpool should only have to score one or two goals to win this match, and even without star forwards Philipe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge, we still back them to have the scoring prowess needed.
In our third and fourth legs, we will be taking two more of the big six, Chelsea and Tottenham to have comfortable wins over minnows Sunderland and Hull City. Chelsea travels Sunderland on Thursday morning, and we don’t have to say much more than the fact that this is first place on the ladder, who is currently on a nine-game win streak, playing last on the ladder, who boasts 10 losses from 15 games so far. Chelsea will be way too good for Sunderland in this one.
Tottenham come up against 2nd last on the table, Hull City, who aren’t fairing much better than Sunderland. Hull have lost 9 of their 15 games so far this season, and come up against arguably the best team in the comp on paper. While their performances of late haven’t proven that statement, Tottenham boast the best defence in the league, allowing only 11 goals this season. With Sportsbet’s 4 leg multi promo, we feel confident that if we do lose thins multi, it should only be by one upset draw, meaning we get our money back in reward points.
