2016-17 EPL Multi Week 23
Another mid-week round of EPL this week and with it we have another free multi! We just missed on last round’s multi with Liverpool costing us by going down to Swansea. We still hit on the other three legs though so at least we get out money back in bonus bets with the Sportsbet/CrownBet promo! Some quality match-ups this week and some quality value games as well, we’ll try to find the best ones in our 2016-17 EPL Multi for Week 23 below.
Leg one of the our multi features the semi in form Man U coming up against wooden spoon contenders Hull City. Hull had a decent win over Bournemouth 2 weeks ago, but were decimated by Chelsea last round. They are in the middle of a horrid four weeks of games, with Man U, Liverpool and Arsenal to come in the next few weeks. They will be lucky if they can draw one of those games, and could see themselves on the bottom of the table by the end of it. Look for Man U to control the game at home and come away with a low scoring win.
For leg two of the multi we’ll be looking towards the Tottenham to take down current wooden spooners Sunderland. With 3 results, betting the H2H markets in soccer is always a tough prospect, but taking a team like the Spurs to beat Sunderland seems a sure thing. Tottenham have only allowed 16 goals on the season so far while Sunderland have only scored 20 through 22 games. The Spurs boast a top two defence in the league and should only need to find the back of the net once to win this one.
Southampton to beat Swansea will be leg three of the multi. Although Swansea had a great win against Liverpool in the last round, they were thoroughly outplayed for most of the game. They have let a massive 51 goals in this season and can’t manage to stop the opposition from finding the back of the net. Southampton, while not performing as well as they have in the previous few years, are still a team worthy of a top 8-10 position on the table, and should roll over Swansea.
That’s really it for short priced favourites. So we’ll need to look elsewhere for value in our last leg. Stoke host Everton on Thursday morning and are relatively in form after a decent 1-1 draw with Man U. Stoke play gritty football, especially at home, and travelling there mid-week for a night game is always a tough prospect. While Everton have been arguably one of the most in form teams over the past few rounds, I would be surprised if this one didn’t end in a low scoring draw.
