2016-17 EPL Multi Week 28
Due to FA Cup fixtures this weekend, 5 of the 10 EPL games have been postponed, however, we still have 5 quality matchups and we’ll attempt to find a four-leg multi amongst it somewhere as we bring you our Multi of the Round for Week 28 of the 2016-17 EPL Season.
We’ve decided to leave the Hull vs Swansea game out of this weeks multi because we think it’s the most evenly matched contest, so that leaves us with 4 games, all of which will be featured.
In leg one of our multi we’ll be taking Manchester City to get the job done at home against Stoke on Thursday morning. Although City have a tough schedule coming up with a FA Cup game on the weekend as well as a Champions League tie next week, we think they should have the firepower here to get past a Stoke team that has been fairly inconsistent of late. Stoke have leaked the most goals (40) of any of the top 9 teams and this will play right into Manchester’s attacking play style.
Leg two of our multi will feature West Ham to beat the Cherries in Bournemouth. While Bournemouth have been surprisingly good in their 2nd season in the Premier League, their form has come unstuck over recent weeks after only winning 1 game from their last 10. After a blip in the radar a few years back, West Ham seemed to have cemented themselves as a mainstay in the Premier League and it’s games like this one that attribute to their longevity in the top league.
In our third leg we like Everton to continue their stellar 2016-17 season and get the W over West Bromwich. West Brom are another team that are firmly engrained in the Premier League now, however, Everton are a class above and the current form of striker Romelu Lukaku, who sits sits 2nd on the EPL table with 18 goals gives the Toffees the slight edge here. A bet on him to score and Everton to win is a good punt in itself every week.
Our last leg features Liverpool to claim victory over Burnley on Monday morning. Hot off an awesome win against Arsenal last week, the Reds will be looking to cement themselves inside the top four with a win here over the inconsistent Burnley. The home field advantage just means too much for Liverpool, who have only lost 1 game at Anfield all year, and we don’t expect them dropping another to Burnley.
