2013 Multi Bet #7

Like the rest of Australia, the Roosters cost us our multi last week – an 11k ticket GONE! After winning some pretty tight margins we were counting the money in our pockets when the Roosters were up 12-10 at halftime…but it wasn’t to be…it was just one of those weeks.

Nothing we can do about it but come back and have a win this week! It looks like another good week for betting in the AFL and there are some NRL games that we can see going either way. Only game we are confidant on there is the Bulldogs to beat the Roosters without their Origin players.

Kurt Tippett

Odds this week are thanks to Sportsbet. Here’s our 5-leg multi:

  1. Bulldogs to beat Roosters $1.32
It’s hard to see where the points are going to come from for the Roosters without their Origin stars and we expect the Bulldogs to have a good win.
  2. West Coast +46.5 against Hawthorn $1.41
BIG ins for the Eagles in Glass, Waters, Kennedy and LeCras. Hawthorn were far from impressive last week against Carlton and we think this will be a closer game than the bookies are predicting and really like West Coast with the 46.5 start at $1,41!
  3. Fremantle to beat North Melbourne $1.31
Freo will play their regular defensive game and shut down the Roos who have been pretty ordinary this year.
  4. Richmond -23.5 against the Western Bulldogs $1.42
Richmond are starting to actually look like a team who deserves to play finals football. Predicting a 10 goal + win here.
  5. Sydney Swans -23.5 against Port Adelaide $1.45
Kurt Tippet is back! The Swans are in hot form and this could get really ugly for Port. The Swans will cover the 4 goal margin easily.

Total odds: $5.02
We are putting $500 on this for a potential payout of $2,510.

Let us know your thoughts and any other bets you like for the week!

Best of luck!
