2015 NBA Multi Nov 12

For this week’s NBA multi we will be taking advantage of a couple of favourites whilst including an upset to enhance our odds even further.

To start our multi off we will be backing the Toronto Raptors to make easy work of the Philadelphia 76ers. The Raptors started the season 5-0 before losing their last three matches. The 76ers have been in the rebuilding period for a few years now and they have quality young talent, however the Raptors are a contender in the East and will get back to winning ways in this one.

The Clippers returned to winning ways against the Memphis Grizzlies at home and we will be backing them to defeat the Mavericks in DeAndre Jordan’s first trip to Dallas since turning his back on the verbal agreement he made to join them in the offseason. The crowd will be hostile and the players will be fired up and ready to play. However, the Mavericks will be playing their second match in two days and as their depth isn’t as strong as the Clippers they will tire late.

The Warriors have started the season 8-0 and have shown no signs of slowing down. We will be backing them to make it 9-0 against the Memphis Grizzlies who they dismantled under a week ago and beat them by 50 points. The Grizzlies will likely come out with a point to prove, especially on home court but with Stephen Curry playing like the MVP and being nearly unguardable whilst making his team mates around him better they will be nearly impossible to beat.

The Pistons suffered their first away loss after winning their previous three this season, however they can be forgiven as it was against the defending champions. They have an easier task coming up against the Sacramento Kings despite DeMarcus Cousins returning from injury. These two sides have been relying heavily on their starters and their depth isn’t as strong as the topsides, however with Andre Drummond in career best form and with Reggie Jackson making a statement, the Pistons will pick up the win in this one.

In our final leg we will be taking the San Antonio Spurs to defeat the Denver Nuggets away from home. The Spurs are currently 5-2 and LaMarcus Aldridge has made a strong transition into the team and has been putting up big numbers. However, arguably the biggest improvement in the team is from Kawhi Leonard who has improved on the offensive side of the court after already being recognised for his defensive work last year as he won the defensive player of the year award. I am expecting Aldridge to have a huge game in his first return to Portland as the Spurs pick up their 6th victory of the year.
