The 2016-17 English Premier League season has arrived and things will kick off with a bang this weekend. Each week we will bring to you our EPL multi.

To kick things off we will be backing the defending champions to overcome the newly promoted Hull City on the road. Leicester City have been able to resign Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez remains at the club despite a lot of speculation he will be leaving. However, it isn’t all good news as they sold N’Golo Kante. The midfielder was a key component to their success last season as he was able to control the centre of the field and break a lot of their oppositions attack. Meanwhile the Tigers were promoted to the Premier League but they haven’t boosted their squad much and are expected by a lot of experts to find themselves in the Championship next season unless they mix things up in the remainder of the transfer window. The Foxes have managed to maintain their lethal goal scorer and Mahrez who create a lot of opportunities for Vardy and they will start their defence off strongly.

Middlesbrough is another side that has been promoted to the Premier League after spending seven years in the Championship. The Spanish coach has brought in a lot of talent from his homeland with Victor Valdes signing to play between the posts along with Antonio Barragan, Alvaro Negredo and former Ajax winger Viktor Fischer will bring a lot of spark to the side. However, they will face a tough contest against Stoke City who were beginning to find their feet towards the end of last season. They entered the 2015-16 season with a lot of expectations but a slow start prevented them from reaching any true heights. We are predicting them to get off to another slow start but they will be able to earn a draw on the road against Middlesbrough.

There have been a lot of changes at Manchester United throughout the offseason starting with coach Jose Mourinho joining the team. The ‘special one’ has been able to attract a lot of talent to the side, despite the Red Devils not playing in Champions League football this year. This will allow them to focus entirely on the premier League and it will start with a win against Bournemouth this weekend. The Red Devils have added a lot of fire power by bringing in Zlatan Ibrahimovic and they received a massive boost this week with Paul Pogba returning to the side that let him leave for free. That mistake cost them an estimated 89 million pounds but it will be worth it as Pogba is a star midfielder. Bournemouth will have the advantage of playing on home soil but it won’t be enough, as the expectations surrounding the Manchester United club will come to fruition this weekend.

In our final leg we will be backing the Gunners to come out on top against the Reds. Arsenal has been quiet as usual in the transfer window but they were able to sign Granit Xhaka to bolster their midfield. The Switzerland international will bring stability to the centre of the pitch, which will allow the players around him to focus on their creativity. The side is still lacking a striker with killer instinct, as the side will need to rely on Oliver Giroud who can fall in and out of form quickly. Meanwhile there has been a lot of changes with the Liverpool squad from last year but we are expecting it to take a couple of weeks before their combinations are at the right level to challenge an Arsenal side that has been very similar for a few years. The Gunners will earn the three points on their home soil.
