The 2016-17 EPL season continues this weekend and we have our EPL Week 2 Betting Multi.

To start this weeks multi off we will be backing Manchester United to earn a victory against Southampton on home soil. The Red Devils started their life under Jose Mourinho strongly as they were able to defeat Bournemouth 3-1 on the road. Juan Mata, Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic found their names on the scorer’s sheet but Mourinho would have been disappointed with the late goal the side conceded. Ibrahimovic was relatively contained in the opening half but he came to life in the second and we believe he will continue to improve as he adjusts to the style of the Premier League. Meanwhile Rooney played strongly in his playmaking role and he has the intelligence and skill to continue his successful career in a different position. Meanwhile Southampton will enter this match on the back of a 1-1 draw with Watford and it seems that the departure of their manager Ronald Koeman will see the side dip in form. They have had a lot of turnover with players over the last two seasons and unfortunately they won’t be as strong this year.

Liverpool put together a terrific performance against Arsenal on the weekend as they took advantage of their defensive issues to capture a 4-3 victory. The Reds were leading 4-1 with 30-minutes remaining but the side wasn’t able to continue their momentum for the remainder of the match. Their star player was Coutinho who scored the stunning free kick to level the scores before he was on the end of a cross that put his side in the lead. He has outstanding potential and he will be a key factor in the side’s success this season. They are up against Burnley who suffered a loss on the opening day and the side will be disappointed they weren’t able to create any clear cut chances. They will be playing their second straight match on home soil but unfortunately for them it will end in two straight losses.

Chelsea were able to pull off a lucky escape with a Diego Costa late winner against West Ham. It was always going to be a tough match for the Blues but they will be pleased with the three points on home soil. They are on the road this weekend as they take on Watford who had a draw last weekend. The Blues are clearly a superior side and we are expecting them to continue to improve under their new manager Antonio Conte. They have a lot of fire power up front and it should be enough to get them the victory but they will need to be wary defensively.

In our final leg we will be jumping on Everton to get the victory against West Brom on the road. The Toffees played superbly in their first match under new manager Ronald Koeman as the superb tactician’s style was evident in their play. They were able to take the lead against Tottenham in the first half and if it wasn’t for the side running out of energy they probably would have gone on to win the match. They are up against West Brom who played in a slow match against Crystal Palace but they were able to come away with a 1-0 lead. West Brom weren’t able to create many chances and last season they were in the bottom three of goal scored. Meanwhile Everton has a lot of fire power and if they are able to enter the match with a similar amount of energy as they did against Tottenham then they will win this match comfortably.
