2016-17 EPL Multi Week 20

With this mid-week round being our 3rd EPL round in the span of a week and a half, we have been treated over this Christmas and New Years to some fantastic football. The festivities wrap up this week before we return to normal action in England’s premier domestic competition on the weekend. Games will be played Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning (AEDT) and we have you covered with our All Free Bets EPL Multi of the Week for Round 20 here.

With so much emphasis on the health and fitness of teams due to the grueling Christmas and New Years schedule, we are steering clear of some of the better value games we might have looked at in other weeks, and going for more of the lower priced, surer things. The big teams have deep rosters, and they are no stranger to playing this many games in a short time frame with regular Champions League and Europa League duties to attend to, so we’ll be looking closely at the big six and their matchups.

Manchester City will host Burnley at 2am Tuesday morning and while Burney had an outstanding 4-1 win over Sunderland at home on the weekend, coming up against the likes of Man City is a different kettle of fish. City did drop their game to Liverpool on the weekend 1-0, however, they lost that match after a 3-game win streak that included a great win over Arsenal. With the added benefit of playing at Etihad, a place where they have only lost once this year, look for the Sky Blues to bounce back in this one and get the W.

Liverpool will travel to Sunderland for a game that also starts at 2am Tuesday. Liverpool sit 2nd on the ladder and are on a 4-game win streak. Liverpool have scored 46 goals on the season so far, which is good for most in the league, while Sunderland’s 17 is only one better than league worst Hull City. Class will win out in this one and Liverpool should be much too strong for 3rd last team Sunderland.

Our third leg will be Arsenal to beat 10th place Bournemouth. Much like the previous game, it’s a differnet class level when comparing these two teams. While upsets can always happen, when we are forced to take a 4-leg multi to receive either CrownBet or Sportsbet’s cash back offer, it would be silly to go with anyone other than Arsenal here. They have only lost 2 of their last 10 games, and they boast one of the deepest rosters in the EPL which will come in handy come selection time in Arsenals 3rd game in 15 days.

Our 4th and final leg will be the only one with substantial value as Stoke will host Watford at 7am on Wednesday morning. Stoke captured a 1-0 victory away from home in the two teams previous meeting, and with losses to Liverpool and Chelsea in the last 2 weeks, that should boost their price a little bit. Stoke have done what they needed to to stay relevant and out of the relegation zone so far this year. They are very good at beating the teams they should, while they often struggle to win games against the big 6. Their record against the conventional big 6 of the two Manchester’s, Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool this year is a dismal 1 draw and 5 losses. Their record against other teams, however, is a healthy 5 wins, 5 draws and 3 losses. They also have the added advantage of being home for this one, look for them to get a W in a low scoring affair here.
