The 2016-17 EPL season continues this weekend and there are some huge match ups this weekend. Last week we picked 2/4 results so we’re looking to go better this weekend.

To kick off our EPL multi we are going to be predicting the current champions to defeat the former champions in a huge battle. It is the opening match of the round and we are predicting the pace of Jamie Vardy to play a huge role in the Foxes victory. Chelsea have struggled at the back for the last two seasons and it is largely due to their aging players. David Luiz has been brought into the side but he hasn’t been able to solve the problems. They have been slow and this will fall into the hands of the style of Leicester City. To make matters worse for Chelsea they will be down on confidence after two poor performances and the Foxes are coming into their own after strong showings in the Champions League.

In our second leg we are backing Tottenham Hotspur to continue their winning ways and dominance against West Bromwich despite being on the road. The Spurs were the first side to hand Manchester City a loss this season and they did it in convincing fashion. It could have easily been a larger victory if it wasn’t for a couple of missed chances, including a penalty shot in the second half. However, they were able to grab two goals and kept a clean sheet against a side that had been dangerous in attack all season. The Spurs have lost just once in their last 13 meetings with West Brom. The Spurs are a true title contender this year and if they are to back that up they will need to make sure they win these types of matches, even if they are on the road.

In our third leg we will be predicting Manchester City to split the points with Everton as the match will end in a draw. City fell in their last match against the Spurs to drop their first competition points of the season. They will want to bounce back strongly and return to winning ways but we believe the side could enter a form slump similar to last season. They started with a bang and they looked as if they couldn’t be beaten. Everton aren’t going to enter this match with confidence themselves but in a big positive for the side striker Romelu Lukaku has been in great goal scoring form. He has scored five goals in his last four games and that is great news for the Toffees. They will be chasing victory in this match and will look to press on the ball and it will unsettle their opponents and ultimately they will do enough to earn a point.

In our final leg we believe Liverpool will do enough to hold off their arch rivals Manchester United in a classic match. The two teams are beginning to show some resurgence after a couple of seasons off the pace of the top four. The Reds have arguably the best attack in the competition at the moment and are looking like a dangerous side for any defence to take on. It will be a big worry for the Red Devils who have made a couple of mistakes this season at the back and the Reds will be there to pounce if they do the same. However, Liverpool’s defence has also made mistakes – but their attack has been a lot better and they will do enough to get the victory on home soil.
