2016 AFL Round 11 Betting Multi

AFL 2016

Another frustrating week as Carlton’s big upset over Geelong meant we yet again missed our AFL multi by one pick. We will be hoping to go better this week as we go aggressive with four short-odd legs and one roughie to round out our 2016 AFL Round 11 multi betting tips.

We will be skipping the Friday night game and instead making Hawthorn to defeat Melbourne the first leg of our AFL Round 11 multi. This one looks cut and dry. The Hawks might not be in the best form of their dynasty, but they are still classy for a very inconsistent Melbourne unit – especially considering the Demons don’t have star player Jack Viney in the side.

Adelaide to defeat St Kilda also looks like a safe option as the Saints have to travel to Adelaide Oval and take on an in-form and very dangerous team. The Crows are coming off a very strong victory against the Giants and it doesn’t look like their season will be slowing down any time soon. Adelaide’s forward line just simply looks too dangerous for St Kilda to contain.

The third leg is another one we are confident with as we like Carlton to defeat Brisbane. The Blues are one of the stories of the year. They are a shadow of their 2015 selves and showed us just how good they can play in their victory over Geelong. Bryce Gibbs is in career-best form and even though Marc Murphy is out, they should be able to take care of Brisbane.

While it would be nice to get a better price for the win-less Dockers, we are happy to take Fremantle to defeat Essendon this weekend. Anyone who think the Dockers will tank this game in front of a home crowd against the dismal Bombers is kidding themselves. There would be no coming back from that. The Dockers should look to make a point with this one.

The final leg of our Round 11 multi is the toughest one, but we think there is plenty of value on GWS to defeat Geelong. Despite this game being at Simonds Stadium, the Giants simply match-up well against the Cats. Not only do I think the Giants have more run in the middle, but they are very dangerous in front of goal and the Cats have struggled in defence the last few weeks. The Giants also get Phil Davis back this week which should help to contain Tom Hawkins. It’s a tough game, but like the price here.
