2016 AFL Round 13 Betting Multi

2016 AFL betting

After a loss in Round 12 and with the bye rounds about to start, it’s time to readjust our AFL betting multi strategy. The terms of the CrownBet multi special we usually take advantage of only allows games with odds of $1.10. Unfortunately, that means we can’t get to five legs with the games that we like this week, so instead we will be playing it safer and going with a three-leg AFL Round 13 betting multi that looks like value for money.

The first leg of our multi is take Hawthorn -16.5 against North Melbourne. The Hawks come into this game on the back of a confidence-boosting demolition of the Bombers and will face an undermanned and battered North Melbourne outfit. Further to that, the Hawks have a fantastic record against the Roos, winning four of the last five, including a 60-point win the last time the two sides met. The Roos haven’t been able to put up big scores like early in the year and it doesn’t seem like the talented Hawthorn backline will have trouble containing the tall North Melbourne forward line.

The second leg of our AFL Round 12 multi is for Port Adelaide to defeat Fremantle. Despite being at Domain, the $1.65 looks like value here. Port Adelaide looked veyr dangerous against the Western Bulldogs last week. If they play like that again, Fremantle will struggle. The Dockers simply haven’t beaten any quality teams this year. They have won two games – against Essendon and Brisbane who are the worst two teams in the comp. They are still playing a depleted, young list and any class from a team like Port Adelaide will over power them.

The third and final leg of our multi is for Geelong to defeat the Western Bulldogs. This is one of the biggest games of the week and will no doubt draw a huge crowd at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night. The Bulldogs keep finding a way to win, but the injuries continue to pile up, with star Luke Dahlhaus the latest on the sidelines. They also coming off a really tough game in Adelaide. Geelong also simply look like the best team in the comp at the moment – with one caveat… Dangerfield and Selwood need to be on and more often than not, that is the case. The odds on Geelong here look attractive.
