2016 AFL Round 16 Betting Multi

AFL footy

The byes are over and that means it’s back a regular nine games of footy this week. The last three weeks have thrown up plenty of surprise results, but hopefully we can snag a solid multi or two in the upcoming rounds, starting with our 2016 AFL Round 16 betting multi.

With nine full games this week we are going back to offering a five-leg head-to-head multi that will utilise the CrownBet special that gives a matched bonus bet equal to our stake if one leg fails.

We will be skipping the opening Thursday night game in Round 16 and instead making Geelong to defeat Sydney the first leg of our multi. We aren’t getting the greatest odds for Geelong with this one, but with the game down at Simonds, the Swans are going to find this very tough. The Cats are such a good centre clearance team and if they win that battle like they do most weeks, then we are fairly confident they will get the job done on Friday night.

Next up we are taking Gold Coast to defeat Brisbane. It’s hard to make an argument for the Lions any week and Round 16 is no different. While the Lions would always fancy themselves a chance in a ‘Q-Clash’, there is no doubt the Suns are the better Queensland-based team. They played fantastic footy last week and with a damaging forward line and far more cohesive midfield than Brisbane, they should win easily.

The third leg of our AFL Round 16 multi is for the Western Bulldogs to defeat Richmond. Like the Geelong leg, we would like better odds for the Bulldogs, but are very happy to include them in our multi. Richmond are having a horrible season and couldn’t handle the Power’s heat last week. The Bulldogs aren’t the best scorers in the comp, but good luck to Richmond managing to score themselves. The Bulldogs showed us why they are so dangerous last week and should do the same again this week.

Adelaide to defeat Carlton is probably the leg of our multi we are most comfortable with in Round 16. The Crows continue to dominate. They are the best scoring team in the league and will pose huge problems for Carlton. Adelaide don’t often score less than 100 points – even on the road – and so we aren’t sure how the Blues could win.

The final leg of our Round 16 multi is a little bit risky, but we are happy to take West Coast to defeat North Melbourne. The game is at Domain Stadium where the Eagles are no doubt hugely damaging. They are averaging over 120 points on their home ground and anywhere near that will be good enough for a win this weekend. The Roos were horrible a fortnight ago against the Crows and it’s going to be tough for them to turn it around out west.
