2016 AFL Round 3 Betting Multi

2016 AFL

Another tough AFL round saw us fall short of hitting our multi, but hopefully this week we can turn it around with our handy 2016 AFL Round 3 betting multi!

The first game we will be putting in our Round 3 multi is Port Adelaide vs Essendon. This one will be played at Adelaide Oval on Friday night and while the odds on the Power look a little bit short, this is still the game they have to win and will no doubt be looking to make a statement. Essendon were brave in their victory last week, but I think that was more of an indictment on Melbourne. Port Adelaide might not win by 10 goals, but they should get an easy victory.

Next on the agenda is St Kilda vs Collingwood. The Magpies had a massive confidence booster last week when they got a buzzer beater win over the Tigers. The Saints are at the other end of the spectrum, being spanked by the Bulldogs. This one is at the MCG where the Pies have a great record, along with a great record against the Saints themselves. Would like a few more cents on the Pies head-to-head, but happy to have them in our multi.

Saturday afternoon sees Richmond vs Adelaide at Etihad and this is where we will be getting lots of value in our multi with the Crows at a very nice price. The Tigers are still having injury woes, while the Crows have looked really dangerous in recent weeks – even in their loss to the Roos. They have shown as they will be fine without Dangerfield and I’m not sure how Richmond win this game. Adelaide won’t even be worried about coming to Melbourne, having a great record at Etihad.

On Saturday night we head up north for Gold Coast vs Carlton. I actually think the $1.21 on Gold Coast is generous. Carlton really struggled against the Swans last week, while Gold Coast looked good in their win over the Dockers. Ablett is well and truly back, Aaron Hall is dominating and Carlton will struggle through the middle. And up forward. And down back really. Very happy to take the Suns.

The last leg of our multi focuses on North Melbourne vs Melbourne which will be played in Tasmania on Sunday. The Roos love it down south and there are no reasons to think they wont defeat Melbourne – a team who lost to the Bombers last week. The Roos are 2-0 and should make it a third straight win against a team who might not be quite as good as we thought after Round 1.
