2016 AFL Round 6 Betting Multi

2016 AFL Betting

It’s always tough to bag a multi when upsets like Fremantle losing to Carlton happen. That’s what we were up against last week, but hopefully things are smoother this time around as we offer our AFL Round 6 multi betting tips.

The first leg of our AFL Round multi sees us skip the Friday night game and take Melbourne to defeat St Kilda on Saturday afternoon. Melbourne looked very good last in their victory over the Tigers last week and they should have enough to take care of the Saints. There is no doubt this will be a tough game, but the Saints looked tired against the Giants and I can’t see them stepping up for this one.

Next up is the speculative Richmond to defeat Port Adelaide. This really is one of those games where both teams absolutely have to stand up and prove they aren’t as bad as we think. Unfortunately for Port Adelaide I think the Tigers will get the four points. They have Deledio back in the side, the games at the MCG and Port Adelaide just look that little bit worse of late. This is our toughest pick of the week, no doubt, but that’s how we get a bit of value in the multi.

Thing get a little simpler as the third leg of our AFL Round 6 multi is Geelong to defeat Gold Coast. The Suns are consistently overrated, but have given us no reason to pick them. This is at Simonds Stadium and the Cats have proven that the Dangerfield / Selwood combo is tough to play against. Confident the Cats win this one easily.

Generally, I would never be happy picking the Blues, but on current form I’m happy to take Carlton to defeat Essendon. The Bombers were thumbed and left disheartened on ANZAC Day, while the Blues will have newfound confidence after their victory over the Dockers. Would have preferred a better price on the Blues, but happy to slot them into the multi.

The final leg of our Round 6 multi is for West Coast to defeat Collingwood. yes the Pies are coming off a victory, but it looked they were playing against a local footy side when they smashed Essendon last week. This is an entirely different test for Collingwood and good luck to them having to take the Eagles on at Domain.
