2016 AFL Round 9 Betting Multi

2016 AFL Round 9

After a tough few weeks of missing out on landing our footy multis, we are going with some safer options this week – fading tough games like the Friday night match between Hawks and Sydney. Hopefully this ends up being a good decision! Find out what we are thinking with our 2016 AFL Round 9 multi.

The first leg of our multi begins with the first game on Saturday as we will be taking Geelong to defeat Collingwood. There is no doubt the Magpies played better footy last week, but it looks like fans are getting a bit overexcited. They did only beat the Lions, and while it was a thorough beating, it is not going to be easy taking on the Cats during Round 9. Even if the talented Pies midfield breaks even with the Cats, the Pies will struggle up forward and down back. Happy to take the Cats.

Next up in our Round 9 multi we will be taking West Coast to defeat Port Adelaide. The game may be at Adelaide Oval, but West Coast is a much stronger team than the Power. There has been a lot of talk around the Eagles not being able to win on the road, so that should give them extra motivation to silence the doubters. We have to remember Port Adelaide lost to Carlton last week. This team is in strife. West Coast should go for their throats.

We then like North Melbourne to defeat Carlton. This should be a very simple pick. Carlton have certainly been playing better football, but the top-of-the-ladder Roos should be too strong. The Blues will struggle most with North Melbourne’s tall forward line. The Roos should also be keen to get back to playing quality football after struggling in the late stages of their game with Essendon last week.

The fourth leg of our multi sees us taking Melbourne to defeat Brisbane. Despite losing against the Bulldogs last week, the Demons are playing very solid. They are still playing strong, attacking football and should be too classy for the Lions who are struggling. The struggles will almost certainly continue as well with Dayne Beams and Tom Rockliff both on the sidelines.

The final leg of our Round 9 multi is St Kilda to defeat Essendon. The Bombers were brave in their loss to North Melbourne last week, but being brave wasn’t enough to get the win. The Saints were the complete opposite, being demolished by the Eagle. The Saints will be eagre to put that one behind them, get back to Melbourne and find a confidence-building victory against the Bombers.
