2016 NRL Round 12 Betting Multi

Last week we picked a perfect 5/5 for our NRL multi and earned a great $654 payday off just $50. We will be looking to go back to back this week as we picked a winner from each of the four NRL matches to be played this weekend.

The opening match of the round will see the Brisbane Broncos take on the Wests Tigers at Suncorp stadium. Going off form, you would predict the Broncos to win this match easily but everything changes around the State of Origin period as teams are without key and experienced players. One of the hardest hit teams is the Broncos and it is no different this year as they will be without a lot of their stars, however luckily for them neither of their halves pairing of Ben Hunt and Anthony Milford could be picked. This is a massive boost for the Broncos as it maintains their strong attack and their structure as the two experienced players will continue to steer the club around the park. Meanwhile the Tigers earned a victory against the struggling Knights but it was far from impressive and they will struggle to score points against the Broncos solid defence without James Tedesco at fullback who will remain on the sidelines due to injury. We are predicting the Broncos to win this one by a comfortable margin.

In our second leg we will back the Cowboys to overcome being without their star players to defeat the Dragons on the road. The Cowboys were able to dismantle the Dragons earlier in the season when they won 36-0 but it will be a far more difficult task this time around as they will be without Johnathan Thurston, Michael Morgan, Matt Scott, James Tamou and Justin O’Neill. It is five massive losses that contribute a lot to their attack and go forward but luckily for the Cowboys they have a lot of depth and young talent coming through that will look forward to the challenge and the chance to prove themselves as first graders. Meanwhile the Dragons struggles have continued and they are one of the more inconsistent sides in the competition. They have struggled in attack throughout the whole year whilst at times their defence has been solid but a lot of the time can be easily cracked. We are backing the Cowboys to have too much winning experience within their squad and they will rally in this match for a narrow victory.

The Canberra Raiders are one of the sides that will benefit throughout the State of Origin period as they have a lot of great players who would be considered to play for their state but they only lose Josh Papalli to Origin duty. They showed what they are capable of on the weekend when they dismantled the Warriors defence and they will be looking to build on that performance when they return to home soil. The Bulldogs inconsistent season continued last week as they were able to earn the victory but it was far from a dominant performance as they allowed the Roosters back into the game just before half time and they benefited on the back of a one sided penalty count. They will be without Josh Jackson, David Klemmer and possibly Josh Morris who were all selected for NSW. If they are without Morris we expect the Raiders centres to get an advantage, as the Bulldogs will be without one of the best defensive centres in the game. Regardless, the Raiders have shown their attacking capabilities and if Aiden Seizer and Blake Austin can continue to develop a combination with each other and the rest of the side, they will go on to win this game convincingly.

In the final game of the NRL Round 12 action we will be backing the Eels to turn around their recent run of fortune and earn a victory against the Knights on the road. The Eels have been surrounded by media attention for the entire season for multiple different reasons but the biggest being the salary cap drama. They finally found themselves under the cap and allowed to play for points but they have lost the following two matches. It is disappointing for the side but we can’t see them losing this one against the struggling Knights. Newcastle have only the one victory to their name and with their young and inexperienced side losing against top sides by large margins we can see this one ending in a similar way. They will be without their best player so far this season Dane Gagai who will be playing for Queensland.
