2016 NRL Round 13 Betting Multi

In our last NRL multi we were able to correctly pick the five legs and earn a nice payday of over $650! We will attempt to do the same this weekend.

The Canberra Raiders are hosting the Manly Sea Eagles in the first match of the weekend on Friday night and we are predicting the Green Machine to earn back-to-back victories. They were able to come from behind in spectacular fashion against the Bulldogs on the weekend. They already bolster one of the bigger forward packs in the competition but it increased even more with the early addition of Junior Paulo to the side from the Parramatta Eels. This will help put the side on the front foot and create space for their skilful backs and halves. Joey Leiluia and Jordan Rapana will be a tough ask for the Sea Eagles to defend against. The two have combined for nearly 20 tries this season and we are predicting they will get the upper hand of their opponents and contribute drastically to their side’s victory.

In our second leg we will be predicting an upset between the Melbourne Storm and the Penrith Panthers. The Storm has a strong record at home but they are historically poor throughout he Origin period. They will have their captain Cameron Smith backing up after playing 80-minutes for Queensland whilst their will be concerns around Cooper Cronk and his ankle. The halfback injured it during camp with the Maroons and it is questionable to whether he will play on Wednesday night and if he does it will almost certainly rule him out from this weekend as coach Craig Bellamy won’t want him to injure himself playing two games in the space of three days. Meanwhile the Panthers are a side that has been able to keep all of their games close this season. Matt Moylan and Josh Mansour will be backing up after playing for New South Wales but if they can escape injury free they will be important keys for their victory as Moylan has been tremendous this season and is arguably the best playmaking fullback in the game.

The North Queensland Cowboys will host the bottom of the table Newcastle Knights on Saturday night and they are the shortest odds of any team this season. We will be including this match to help us get to at least four leg wins to receive cash back with the Sportsbet promotion. The Knights have just one win all season whilst the Cowboys are the defending champions and even with their stars backing up from Origin they will earn a comfortable victory on home soil where they haven’t lost this season.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs have won their past two matches and we are backing them to make it three in a row when they take on the Titans this weekend. The Rabbitohs have improved since Greg Inglis has moved to five-eighth to partner the new Blues halfback in the halves. Adam Reynolds will be full of confidence in this match after making his debut on Wednesday night for New South Wales and we are expecting him to take his game to another level on the back of that. The Titans have surprised everyone this season by winning five of their 11 matches as they had a horrible offseason with injuries to key personnel but the side has rallied together. They will put up a fight on the back of rookie Ashley Taylor having a great season at halfback but ultimately the Bunnies will find a way to win on their home soil.

In our final leg we will be backing the Cronulla Sharks to defeat the Canterbury Bulldogs on the road. The Sharks are currently sitting on the top of the table and it has been on the back of their terrific forward pack laying the platform for their young, talented and experience backline combination to take advantage of. The Sharks halves pairing has taken the side to a new level this season as they have had a great defence for the past few seasons but they now have a threatening attack to go along with that. The Bulldogs were in the driving seat against the Raiders with an 18-4 lead heading into halftime but that quickly turned around as they ran out of steam towards the end of the game. They can’t afford to have an inconsistent performance against the Sharks, as they will get punished. We don’t think they can put together a full 80-minute performance and the boys from the Shire will remain on top.
