2017 AFL Multi Round 11

AFL-Multi-Round-11
We hit on three out of four legs in our AFL Multi of the Week last round to earn our money back with the Sportsbet promo. We’ll be looking to go one better in Round 11 with limited games to choose from as St Kilda, Brisbane, Western Bulldogs, Sydney, Melbourne and Carlton all have the bye.

Leg one of our multi will feature Port Adelaide to defeat Hawthorn at home on Thursday night. The Power will get a full weeks rest here after playing Geelong in the opening game of Round 10 while the Hawks will get just six days. The Hawks were valiant in their win in Sydney on Friday night but Port Adelaide will arguably be a harder test here, especially at Adelaide Oval where they will be desperate for a win to jump into the top four. The Power boast an elite midfield which should be too classy for the Hawks here.

In leg two of our multi we will be taking the West Coast Eagles to earn the win over Gold Coast at Metricon Stadium on Saturday. The Suns looked good up until half time against Melbourne on the weekend. Down by three goals at the main break, the Demons went on to outscore the Suns 14 goals to 6 in the second half and finish with a 35-point win. The Suns get a tougher test this week in West Coast who will be without Josh Kennedy but still should have the pedigree to beat the struggling Gold Coast team.

The third leg of our multi will feature the Greater Western Sydney Giants to defeat Essendon in Sydney on Saturday afternoon. The Giants seem to have gotten their swagger back over the past 3 weeks with great tight victories over the Pies, Tigers and Eagles. They’ll get arguably their easiest contest of the lot on the weekend when then take on Essendon at home. Phil Davis has been an elite defender all year and we back him to stem the influence of Joe Daniher here and lead the Giants to a win.

The final leg of our multi will be the value leg as we take the ladder leading Adelaide Crows to beat Geelong at Simonds Stadium on Friday night. They will go into the game as favourites but we should be able to get at least $1.70 for the South Australian team which is good enough to have confidence in the 8-2 team. Geelong have looked a little shaky in their last two wins against the Bulldogs and Power and we expect Adelaide to hand them their first loss at Simonds for the year.
