2017 AFL Multi Round 16

AFL Round 16 Multi
As we found out first hand on the weekend, the 2017 AFL season has been a difficult beast to tame in the world of multi bets. We hit on just one of our four legs in last weekend’s AFL multi as underdogs in Richmond and Brisbane had big wins. A change of strategy might be in order if we continue on our ways, however, we’ll push on and hope that we can find some additional winners as we present our AFL Multi of the Week for Round 16 of the AFL season below.

In the first leg of our multi we’ll be taking the Giants to defeat the Hawks down in Tassie on Saturday afternoon. Despite an injury list as long as my arm, the Giants were able to hold on for a draw against the Cats on the weekend and look to be back in great form after a shock loss to the Blues a few weeks ago. The Hawks also looked to have bounced back after a slow start to the season but there should be a fair gap in the class of sides here.

Leg two of our multi will feature the red hot Swans to beat the Suns at home on Saturday afternoon. Even with one man down on the bench from the opening minutes of the game, the Swans decimated Melbourne in every aspect of the game on Friday night and by all accounts look back in the form that saw them make last years Grand Final. Teams who faces Sydney in the first six rounds will be thanking their lucky stars because the Swans are now the form side in the competition. Should be far too strong for the Suns at home.

Leg three of our multi will be Essendon to defeat Collingwood at the MCG on Saturday. The Dons were victorious in the ANZAC Day clash back in March and after losing the last three in a row, the Magpies look destined to lose this match and put Nathan Buckley even further into the hot seat. The Dons have given up two 4th quarter leads in the last two weeks to go down in heartbreakers but are still deserved favourites against the struggling Pies.

We’ll be making it four from four on Saturday as we take the Cats to defeat the Lions in Brisbane for the final leg of our multi. Joel Selwood should be back for the clash after missing the game against the Giants and while the Lions have been up and about lately, Geelong did just draw with the team that beat Brisbane by 10 goals last week. Comfortable win for the Cats here.
