2017 AFL Multi Round 20

AFL Round 20 multi
Yet another 2/4 finish in our multi last weekend was a disappointing finish as Hawthorn and North Melbourne both upset to ruin our multi. We’ll look to bounce back here as we present our AFL Multi of the Week for Round 20 below.

The first leg of our multi will feature the Bombers to defeat the Blues on Saturday at the MCG. Essendon were gallant in their defeat to the Western Bulldogs on the weekend and have shown they can score with the best teams in the league. The Blues had a string of honourable losses before being punished by Geelong on the weekend, regardless, they have lost their last six games and the Bombers should be too strong here.

Our second leg will be the Western Bulldogs to defeat the Lions up in Brisbane on Saturday. The Dogs seem to be having a similar run of form that they did to end the 2016 season. They have won their last three games albeit against the Blues, Suns and Bombers and have been blessed with one of the easier schedules to finish the season. The Lions have looked competitive of late but the Dogs look to have switched on.

Leg three of our multi will feature the Dockers to defeat the Suns on Saturday night. Interesting game for both teams here as neither of them have a chance at playing finals. Both will most likely trying to lose the game to tank for draft picks which could be dangerous but being in Perth there’s a high chance that the Suns don’t travel with some of their stars, namely Gary Ablett. Freo were competitive until the final minutes of their game against GWS on the weekend and look the goods here.

The final leg of our multi will be the Saints to defeat West Coast at Etihad on Sunday afternoon. The Saints cant afford to lose another game if they wish to make finals and while we think it’s a long shot that they go undefeated, they are a massive chance against the Eagles. Should have won against the Power on the weekend and will welcome the return to Etihad here, should be a good value leg.
