2017 AFL Multi Round 22

AFL-Round-22-Multi
Another week another AFL Multi win last round as we hit on a $2.50 multi making it two wins a row! We’ll be looking for the trifecta this week as we present our AFL Round 22 Betting Multi below.

To kick off the multi we’ll be taking the Bombers to defeat the Suns up on the Gold Coast on Saturday afternoon. The Suns have gone into shut down mode now and we will likely not see Gary Ablett again for the season as they begin to tank for draft picks. Ablett has taken the last few games of the year off for a few seasons now and it looks like the Gold Coast coaching staff will keep in on ice moving forward. The Bombers still have a lot to play for and are still a massive chance to play finals with easy games against the Suns and Freo to come. Can’t see them dropping this one with so much on the line.

As the season wears on it becomes easier to pick winners as teams start having less to play for. Melbourne are in the box seat for a finals berth but cant afford to drop this weekend’s game against the Lions. The Lions, along with the Suns, Blues and Roos are in a duel to for next seasons number one draft pick so at the MCG, where Melbourne play so well, we like them to defeat a tanking Brisbane team.

The mismatch of desire to win is the theme of this multi as we take St Kilda to defeat North Melbourne for leg three. The Saints will be wanting to win the last two games of the season to give themselves a shot at playing finals or at the very least send off champion Nick Riewoldt in decent fashion. The Saints have been one of the few teams who have got the better of Ben Brown this season through the great play of Jake Carlisle and Dylan Roberton and we expect them to have the wood over the Roos once again here.

For the value leg of our multi we love the Port Adelaide to win as underdogs in Ballarat against the Western Bulldogs this weekend. The Dogs team is absolutely decimated by injuries at the moment and have their best three tall defenders out of the side this week. We say Jonathon Patton and Rory Lobb absolutely manhandling the fill in key defenders on the weekend and they should get similar treatment from the likes of Charlie Dixon, Justin Westhoff and young big Dougal Howard this weekend.
