2017 AFL Multi Round 3

AFL Multi Round 3
Just two weeks into the season and we have already hit on our first AFL multi of the year with a respectable $2.35 four leg multi. While we will be looking for some higher priced multi’s further down the track, we thought we’d get a few winners under our belt early to build up our bankroll moving forward. We’ll be aiming for another relatively safe one here as we present our Round 3 AFL Multi of the Week.

Leg one of our multi will feature the Swans to get the win over Collingwood at the SCG on Friday night. While the Swans currently sit 0-2 on the season so far, they’ll get a good chance to get on the board Friday night when they come up against the also 0-2 Magpies. Sydney were better than their record suggests on Friday night against the Dogs, playing the majority of the game without star forward Kurt Tippet and still coming very close to winning. With the home field advantage, I think they get a comfortable win over the Pies here as Bucks sinks even further into the hot seat.

In leg two of our multi we’ll be taking the Dogs to travel to Fremantle to earn victory over the Dockers and take them to 3-0 on the season. While many thought that Fremantle could return to their winning ways with a healthy Nat Fyfe and Aaron Sandilands this year, it seems it’s the same old story for Ross Lyons men, who have suffered two massive defeats at the hands of Geelong and Port Adelaide in the first two rounds. Even though they’ll be at home for the clash, they won’t be able to stop a rampaging Western Bulldogs team who don’t look like they’ve taken the foot off the pedal after their 2017 Premiership.

Leg three of our multi will feature the Bombers to also move to 3-0 against their long-time rivals in the Blues. The Blues have looked like the team many expected them to be over the first two weeks, going down to Richmond and Melbourne in fairly comfortable fashion. They’ll come up against a rampaging Essendon team who’s revenge tour is one of the most interesting storylines of the 2017 season so far. The returning stars such as Jobe Watson and Dyson Heppel are fitting back into the team nicely alongside breakout stars in Zach Merret and Joe Daniher and the extra experience the youngsters got in 2016 is paying dividends.

We’ll be taking the Hawks to claim victory over the Suns in the final leg of our multi. Another couple of 0-2 teams will battle it out here. The Suns are probably deserving of their 0-2 record, however, the Hawks have had a tough run of it with games against Essendon and Adelaide in the first 2 rounds. Jaeger O’Meara and Tom Mitchell started to look comfortable in the Hawks system on the weekend, both racking up over 36 disposals. The Hawks midfield should be too strong for the Suns young talent here.
