2017 AFL Multi Round 4

AFL Multi Round 4
Round 3 were dark times for our weekly AFL Multi. The unpredictability of the round meant we hit on zero, yep, that’s right, zero of our four legs. We’ll leave that one in the past, where it belongs and aim to bounce back here. We have hit on one of three weekly multi’s so far, but are almost certain we can make that 2-2 this weekend!

Leg one of our round four multi will feature the red-hot Adelaide to defeat Essendon at home on Saturday night. The Crows are just one of three teams that are undefeated through three rounds have looked the best of the trio by a stretch. Essendon suffered a disappointing loss to the Blues to burst their early season bubble, and will have a tough task travelling to Adelaide here. We expect the Crows to win this one comfortably.

In leg two of our multi we will be taking Richmond to beat the struggling Lions in Brisbane on Sunday afternoon. The Lions went down to an extremely lacklustre Saints team on the weekend, who arguably would have lost to anyone else in the competition. The Tigers are another 3-0 team and while their schedule has been a lot easier than the likes of the Crows, they should still have plenty to get over the Lions here.

Leg three of our multi will feature the Western Bulldogs to defeat North Melbourne in the inaugural Good Friday match at Etihad. Bouncing back from a loss to the Dockers on the weekend, Western Bulldogs return to their beloved Etihad for this one, a place where they rarely lose. North Melbourne are 0-3 on the season and while they’ve had some competitive games, it’s hard to see them edging out the reigning premiers here.

In our final leg we’ll be taking an underdog in the Saints to beat Collingwood at the MCG on Sunday. Regardless of what we said above, the Saints should get back David Armitage and possibly Jack Steven from injury this week, bolstering their midfield in the process. The bookends of the field for the Saints have been great so far this year and if the mids can get in sync they should give the Pies a real run, happy to add some value to the multi here.
