2017 AFL Multi Round 9

Another tough round in the AFL last week which saw three underdogs get up and us unfortunately lose our multi by one leg. Round 9 marks another tough week with a bunch of hard-to-pick games.

In the first leg of our multi we’ll be taking the Giants to beat Richmond on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers have dropped off the pace a little bit after a hot start to the season. They’ve lost their last three games to the Crows, Bulldogs and Dockers and get another tough game in Sydney against the Giants this weekend. The Giants do have some extensive injury problems but the additions of Toby Greene and possibly Brett Deledio as well as the home field advantage we expect the Giants to get the win here.

The second leg of our multi will feature the Crows to defeat the Lions in Brisbane on Saturday night. The Lions have been pretty poor over the last month and it will get tougher for them this week without their captain Tom Rockliff, who dislocated his shoulder in the loss to Hawthorn on the weekend. Although the Crows have lost their last two games to the Demons and Kangaroos, we expect them to bounce back to their winning ways here against a struggling Lions team.

Leg three of our multi will be the Dockers to defeat Carlton in Perth on Sunday afternoon. The Dockers have been in some rare form of late, winning 5 of their last 6 games and while the Blues have been competitive in a lot of games, have only won three games on the season. The dockers are 3-1 at home and Domain Stadium is looking like the fortress is once was, they should be too strong for the Blues here.

The final leg of our multi will feature the Saints to defeat the Swans at Etihad on Saturday afternoon. We are taking the Saints here to add some value to our multi at $1.74 playing at Etihad where thay have been great all year. The Saints have won their last 3 including a great win against the Giants and while Sydney have gained some form in the last few weeks they are really yet to claim a quality scalp.
