2017 NFL Wildcard Betting Multi

The 2016-17 Playoffs are finally here and with it comes a blockbuster four game Wildcard Round this weekend. As per usual we’ll be giving you our All Free Bets Multi of the Week, which should be a bit tougher this week given the competitive nature of the playoffs. Of the 12 Multis we have given this season, 8 have come off. Not a bad regular season at all!

The first game will, in my opinion be the hardest of the lot to pick, an absolute 50-50 in where two below average QB’s will be going head to head. I don’t want any part of this game but with only four games this weekend, it has to be included in our multi. I’m backing the Houston defence to get it done here, the Raiders proved they are incapable of scoring the ball without starting QB Derek Carr as the put up six last week against the Broncos. While Houston’s defence isn’t nearly as good as Denver’s I’m still backing them to keep the Raiders under 10 and come away with a very undeserved win.

The Lions will travel to Seattle in the second game of the weekend after just scraping into the playoffs in Week 17. Seattle is a horrible place to play and the ruckus crowd won’t be doing the Lions any favours as they step up to the line on offence. I like the Seahawks to get it done here under Russel Wilson, who has been improving after battling through the first half of the season with injury.

The Steelers will host the Dophins in game 3 of the Wildcard round. Last season all four road teams won in the first round of playoffs, and I can’t remember a year where all four home teams have won. It seems inevitably every year at least one travelling underdog gets up, and I think this could be the one this year. The Steelers just haven’t looked that impressive to me, regardless of their seven game win streak to finish the season. I’v liked the play of new Dolphins QB Matt Moore over the last few weeks and I’m backing him to get it done in a massive upset here to add value to our multi.

The fourth and final game is a tough one to choose. You’re either going to have to bet against the best QB in the game or the best WR in the game. I feel like the Packers pieces are all starting to come together at the right time for Aaron Rodgers, however, and I like them to just eek out a home field win in this one. Regardless, whoever gets the win here is who I’m picking to go on and win the NFC.

LEG 1 Houston Texans $1.50 vs Oakland Raiders
LEG 2 Seattle Seahawks $1.24 vs Detroit Lions
LEG 3 Miami Dolphins $5.60 as Pittsburgh Steelers
LEG 4 Green Bay Packers $1.42 vs New York Giants
