2017 NRL Multi Round 22

The NRL season continues this weekend and we take a look at the best value matches for our NRL Round 22 Betting Multi.

To kick things off we will be backing the Parramatta Eels to continue on with their great performance from last week and defeat the Canterbury Bulldogs. The Eels looked dead after they trailed by 12 points just 10 minutes into the game against the Broncos but they were able to fight their way back to level the scores before the break and went on to earn the victory in the second half. Bevan French was strong back in the fullback position while the halves pairing of Corey Norman and Mitchell Moses is continuing to develop. They will be too strong in attack against the Bulldogs who are struggling to score points.

In the second leg of our multi we will be predicting the St George Illawrra Dragons to get home against the South Sydney Rabbitohs. The Dragons have everything to play for as they are locked in equal position with the Panthers in eighth spot. The fell against the Knights last week and become just the third team to do so all year. They will have learned from last week and for their sake they will be hoping to snap back into form. Meanwhile the Bunnies have had a rollercoaster season which has mainly lead to them losing matches. They have key players under an injury cloud and we can’t expect them to play at their best in this contest.

In the third leg of our multi we will be predicting the Newcastle Knights to win their second game in as many weeks when they host the New Zealand Warriors. The Knights weren’t the better side last week but they had a bit of lock for the first time this year on their way to victory. We believe the bounce of the ball has given the side a lot of confidence and they will be tough to beat in this one. The Warriors on the other hand had their season officially ended last week and they won’t put much effort into this contest on the road.

In the fourth leg of our multi we will be backing the Brisbane Broncos to get the win over the Gold Coast Titans. The Broncos weren’t able to get the win last week despite heading into their away match against the Eels as favourites. The side will be relying on Ben Hunt and Anthony Milford to step up after the season ending injury to Andrew McCullough. The team will need the two halves to take control but in a boost for the side Darius Boyd returned last week and he will be better with a game under his belt. Meanwhile the Titans’ season also ended last season with a disappointing loss against the Tigers. We can’t see them getting up for this one to shock their northern rivals.

In the final leg of our multi we will be getting behind the Penrith Panthers against the Wests Tigers. The Panthers are fighting for a top eight spot and are now equal with the Dragons for eighth spot. We can see the side putting together a similar performance to earlier in the year when they defeated the Tigers 30-2. The side-story is of course Nathan Cleary up against his father who is coaching the Tigers. We are predicting Nathan to get one up on his father on Sunday.
