2017 NRL Multi Round 25

NRL round 25
The 2017 NRL season continues this weekend and we take a look at the best value head-to-head matches for our NRL Round 25 Betting Multi.

To kick things off on Thursday night, we will be backing the Brisbane Broncos to get revenge on their loss a month ago against the Parramatta Eels. In that match the Broncos were on the road but they will have the advantage of playing at home in this one. The team has gone on a three match winning streak since that loss and they have been superb in attack. Ben Hunt has excelled in the hooker position, replacing the injured Andrew McCullough while the halves pairing of Kodi Nikorima and Anthony Milford has been dynamic. Meanwhile the Eels were able to return to winning ways last week but they have been less they weren’t very convincing. The side will need Corey Norman and Mitchell Moses to play out of their skin in this one but we don’t think are capable of earning the upset.

In the second leg of our multi we will be predicting the Canberra Raiders to keep their slim finals hopes alive with a victory at home over the Newcastle Knights. The Raiders suffered a narrow loss at home against the Panthers and they will need things to go their way if they are to reach the knockout stages. However, a huge win over the Knights would help and with the red and blue suffering a big loss last week against the Storm, it may be danger signs for the final two rounds of the season. We are predicting the Knights to show effort to start the match but ultimately the free-flowing attack of the Green Machine will result in their comfortable victory.

In the third leg of our multi we are jumping on the Cronulla Sharks to earn the win over the Sydney Roosters on Saturday night. The Sharks were victorious by a big scoreline when these two sides met earlier in the season but the Roosters have welcomed back Jake Friend and Boyd Cordner since that loss. The addition of Cordner will help them in attack and defence while Friend will help steer the side around the park. Mitchell Pearce was outclassed by James Maloney when these sides met and we are predicting a similar outcome with the Sharks, the defending premiers, to flew their muscles heading into the finals series.

The Manly Sea Eagles have dropped to eighth position on the ladder after suffering back-to-back defeats from sides who are close to the bottom of the ladder. It isn’t good enough from a finals bound side and they can’t afford to make it three in a row when they travel to New Zealand to face the Warriors. We are backing them to avoid the humiliation with their high profile players Daly Cherry-Evans and Tom Trbojevic to step up and wreak havoc on a side that has given up. The Warriors are on a five game losing streak and they are essentially just waiting for the season to end. They continue to disappoint fans and experts as they don’t live up to their true potential. They may put up a fight in this one but the Sea Eagles should be playing for the full 80-minutes and that will get them over the line.

In the final leg of our multi, we will be backing the Penrith Panthers’ hot streak to continue when they host the St George Illawarra Dragons. The Panthers have won six matches in a row and 11 of their past 13 games to climb into sixth position on the ladder. They will have motivation of a top four spot and playing in front of their old boys on Sunday when they face a Dragons side who has dropped out of the eight. The Dragons started the season strongly but their inconsistencies and struggles to find the try line has cost them a finals position. They will be competitive on Sunday with their defence keeping them in the game but the Panthers will prove too strong in front of a home crowd.
