2017 NRL Multi Round 4

NRL Multi Round 4
The NRL season continues this weekend and we take a look at the best value matches to combine for our NRL Round 4 Betting Multi.

We will kick things off in our multi by backing the undefeated Sydney Roosters to get one up against their arch rivals the South Sydney Rabbitohs. This is the longest rivalry in the game and there will be added fire in the contest with new Roosters five-eighth Luke Keary taking the field against his former club. He has been strong thus far this season and will be primed for a big match against the Rabbitohs who showed him the door. The Roosters have a lot of points in them and the Bunnies have showed the can leak points easily this season. If the Roosters get a roll on early this could turn into an ugly one with the Rabbits suffering from injuries to their backline and suspension to their forward pack.

In the second leg of our multi we are predicting the Penrith Panthers to come away with the victory on home soil against the Newcastle Knights. The Panthers have just one win to their name but their latest loss was controversial. The side has a lot of firepower in attack and they should be boosted by the return of Bryce Cartwright this Friday night. He wasn’t at his best before suffering an injury but he could prove to be handy against the Knights. The Newcastle side has shown a lot of improvement this season and have been competitive in their two losses. However, they haven’t faced a red hot side yet and this could be a wake up call match for the Knights and we are predicting a big win for the mountain men.

In our third leg we will be predicting an upset as we are backing the Canberra Raiders to earn the two competition points on the road against the Brisbane Broncos. The Raiders were winless heading into round 3 but they turned things around with a massive win over the Tigers. The side was back to its attack best and they received a boost pre-game with Jarrod Croker returning to the side. The captain had a big influence in the match and he will be looking to continue that form into this weekend. The Broncos have one of the best defences though and they proved it against the Storm on the weekend. It was their second narrow loss in their third tough game in a row, we are expecting some tired bodies to take the field in this one, despite the nine day rest. Anthony Milford and Ben Hunt should see a lot of traffic their way defensively and the big forward pack of the Raiders will prove the difference as they set the platform for their attacking backline to do the damage.

In our fourth leg we are backing the North Queensland Cowboys to respond to their big loss last week and earn the victory against the Gold Coast Titans. The Cowboys unchractertistally leaked a lot of points, and on home soil. The side can be forgiven though after two straight golden point extra time matches and with so many injuries on the sidelines. They will still be without Jason Tuamalolo while Matt Scott is gone for the season. Justin O’Neil and Kyle Feldt may join Lachlan Coote and Antonio Winterstein on the bench which will test the depth of the backline. However, the Titans side is going through its own injury crisis and the Cowboys side is still stronger on paper. We believe the experience of Johnathan Thurston and Michael Morgan will prove the difference.

To wrap up our multi in round 4 we are backing the New Zealand Warriors to earn the win against the St George Illawarra Dragons. The Dragons have been one of the biggest surprises this season but we believe they played too strong sides on their worst days. The Sharks and Panthers were both very ordinary against the Dragons and they made them pay without looking too hot shot themselves. Meanwhile the Warriors will welcome back their captain Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and they should see Keiran Foran make his debut for the club. He will have a big impact on the success of the Warriors. If he can get back to his best then the potential of this side is massive. The New Zealand spine will be dangerous for any side in the competition and we believe they will have enough points in them to cause the upset.
