A-league Round 6 Multi of the Week

After a great start to our multi last week by correctly picking the opening two matches at combined odds of $12.25, we then missed out on the next picks. However, this week we will take advantage of the high odds in the head to head market as a lot of close matches are expected.

We will start our multi off on Friday night with the Phoenix to pick up a victory at home against the winless Adelaide United. The Reds have lost their last three matches and despite scoring their first two team goals of the season, they weren’t living up to the expectations placed on the side. Meanwhile the Phoenix wasted opportunities to clinch the three points against the Mariners but they won’t be as wasteful in front of a home crowd as they pick up their third victory of the season.

In the second match on Friday night we will back the home side Melbourne City to stop the winning streak of the Wanderers. The Western Sydney side has picked up two victories in a row, however they were outclassed by the Jets last week and only looked the stronger side in the final 15-minutes whilst the Glory are a class below the City outfit. Aaron Mooy will be too creative in the midfield whilst Bruno Fornaroli will likely add to his 5-goal tally.

In the Big Blue we will be taking the defending champions to repeat their efforts in last year’s Grand Final and defeat Sydney FC. The Victory are starting to peak heading into this match as they dismantled the Phoenix in their last league match whilst they were far superior than the Glory in the FFA Cup Final. Besart Berisha has also found his goal scoring boots as he has returned to form scoring in their last three matches. The Sky Blues have had their best defensive start to a campaign but they could all be unravelled this weekend against the potent attacking side of the Victory.

In our final leg we will take the Roar to return to winning ways and continue their strong start to the season with a win against the Glory. Brisbane were able to hold Sydney to a goalless draw last week as their attack was put second to their defence in the away match. As they return home their attack will again be the vocal point against a Perth outfit that has looked vulnerable. They have lost three of their four league matches this season and despite a valiant effort against the Victory in the FFA Cup Final, they never looked threatening. The Roar will be too strong and will pick up a comfortable victory in this one.
