AFL Round 10 Multi of the Week

CrownBet AFL

Last round’s AFL ‘Multi of the Week’ saw us get a free bonus bet back using the CrownBet multi special when just one of our four legs failed to get up. It was great to have that insurance at CrownBet, but hopefully in Round 10 we can get all four legs correct and bag a big score!

The first game we will be including in our multi this week is Friday night’s Fremantle Vs. Richmond. Despite the Dockers being short priced at $1.20 we think there is enough value there to beef up our multi a little. The Dockers simply can’t be beaten at the moment and this game is on their home turf. Yes, the Tigers have been better in recent weeks, but we are talking about the best team in the comp against an underachieving Tigers.

Next up we look at Saturday’s Essendon Vs. Geelong. There has been plenty of interest in the Bombers as the underdogs, but we are happy to get on the Cats here at a price nearing $1.80. The Cats have just shown us more this year – they have beaten better teams and taken better care of the worse teams. The Cats also have a great record against the Bombers, winning the last four of five games. Throw in the fact Jobe Watson is out and we are very happy to get behind the Cats.

We move to Sunday next, first with the Kangaroos Vs. Eagles game. There will be some who suggest the Eagles are overvalued here after the Roos woeful loss to the Pies last week, but the fact of the matter is that the Roos have given us no reason to think they will bounce back. The Eagles, meanwhile, have been surprise packet of the year and continued their great form last week with a solid win over the Cats. The only positive for the Roos is the game being at their second home in Hobart. Their coach being out injured certainly isn’t going to help them though.

The final leg of our multi will see us include the final game of Round 10 – Melbourne Vs. Collingwood. While the Pies are quite short priced they deserve to be. They are in form and will take plenty of confidence from their comeback victory against the Roos last week. The Demons, on the other hand, were slaughtered last week and will find it tough to bounce back against the Pies.
