AFL Round 12 Multi of the Week

The second week of the byes looks like an interesting one, but overall we think there are some value betting spots and can hopefully land our multi. Once again we will be utilising the CrownBet multi special that sees us get a bonus bet back up to $50 equal to our stake if one leg in a 4+ leg multi fails.

This week looks all about the favourites.

For our AFL Round 12 ‘Multi of the Week’ we will be starting with the Adelaide Vs. Hawthorn game on Thursday night. This game is over in Adelaide and that’s the only reason the Hawks aren’t paying something around $1.20. Instead we get them at a high-value $1.37. The Hawks defence is too good for the Crows and their scoring ability is better.

Next up we will be happy to take Port Adelaide at similar odds against Carlton. Yes the Blues looked better last week, but this is still the Blues and no doubt they will start losing some steam. The Power, meanwhile, will come into this game knowing that it’s now or never to turn their year around. They have far more talent in the likes of Gray, Boak and Wingard compared to the Blues and should get the win here.

The third favourite we like this week is North Melbourne against the Giants. As we predicted last week the Giants are really starting to struggle and throw in that Mumford is out and things are starting to look disastrous – especially when their opponent this week have one of the top two big man in the comp. Even though this is on their home turf, I really don’t think the Giants stand a chance.

The final leg of our multi will see us get $1.30 on the Western Bulldogs against the Lions. One of the big factors in the Bulldog’s favour is that the game is Etiihad, but mostly this comes down to the Bulldogs being a much better contested ball team. They are ranked third in the league compared to the Lions at 17. The Dogs will know this and use it to their advantage. It might be a bit of a scrap at times, but the Dogs should win.
