AFL Round 15 Multi of the Week

CrownBet AFL Betting

After another week of getting a bonus bet back when just one leg in our multi failed we are hoping to bag a winner with our AFL Round 15 ‘Multi of the Week’ betting tips. Of course, the bonus bet insurance policy is courtesy of the CrownBet AFL Multi special – place a 4+leg multi up to $50 and if just one leg fails, get a bonus bet equal to your stake.

Once again the AFL round starts on Thursday night – this time with the Collingwood Magpies heading to Adelaide Oval to take on the Port Adelaide Power. We think the odds are way off here with Collingwood paying $1.88 looking like big overs. This one simply comes down to form. The Pies are coming off two very gallant losses to Freo and the Hawks in a season that sees them sit fifth on the ladder. Port Adelaide, meanwhile, were busy losing to Carlton two weeks ago. The attacking power of the Pies will prove too strong and at these odds, we love the look of the black and white.

Next up we will be taking Richmond Tigers to beat Carlton on Friday night. Although the Tigers love to disappoint against the teams where they should win easily, and stand up against better teams, we think they should be able to wrap up Carlton pretty easily. Richmond have won the last two against the Tigers (both at the MCG) and it will be their superior forward half that will win this game with Jack Riewoldt in rare form.

We will be getting a bit of value in the multi with the Bulldogs to beat Gold Coast on Saturday night. The game is in Cairns which will perhaps suit the Suns, but the Bulldogs have been heading north to play this game for a couple of years now, so it shouldn’t bother them too much. No doubt the Suns were better last week with Gary Ablett back in the side but I think their 55-point win was more an indictment on a terrible North Melbourne outfit. The Bulldogs were ugly in their victory over the Blues last week, but they have shown enough form lately to take care of the Suns.

The fourth and final leg of our multi will see us put the riskier underdog Saints in at $2.25 – that’s what the CrownBet insurance policy is all about!

The Saints have been super solid the last few weeks. They lost to the Bulldogs a fortnight ago by one goal, while last week they defeated the Bombers by a ridiculous 110 points. There is no doubt that win says a whole lot about how terrible the Bombers are at the moment, but any team that can kick 25 goals deserves our attention. The Giants were okay against the Tigers last week, but at these odds, we have to get the Saints in the multi and roll the dice.
