AFL Round 22 Multi of the Week

After a tough week that saw the Cats draw with the Saints we are back once again this time offering up our AFL Round 22 multi betting tips!

The first pick we will be getting in our multi is the Cats to beat Collingwood on Friday night. This one is a Geelong home game, but is at the MCG which suits the Magpies. However, Collingwood were so terrible last week that you could not back them again in 2015. No doubt they are a proud club and will try to bounce back from that embarrassing effort, but with the Cats desperately clinging to the fact they can still make the finals means they will come out firing. Also expecting some of the older Cats to start putting in extra effort to try and go out on top / secure a spot in the team next year.

Next up we will be taking the short priced Giants to beat Carlton. The appointment of a new coach won’t be enough to lift Carlton’s spirits into a win at Spotless Stadium. The Giants were disappointing against the Swans last week, but they outclass the Blues in every way. The young side will be looking to finish an okay season on a high note, while the Blues will have one eye on next season.

We then see some value in the Western Bulldogs to beat North Melbourne. On first glance this game goes to North Melbourne – they beat the top team last week, while the Dogs were thrashed against West Coast. But we have to remember that Freo have looked a little out of sorts lately and the Dogs were at Domain Stadium and fielding a very inexperienced team. This week they get Matt Boyd and Liam Picken back in the side and it’s at Etihad. I rate this game a coin flip, but with the Dogs at $2.20 we can’t ignore them.

The fourth leg of our multi will see us take the Eagles to beat Adelaide. The odds of this game actually surprise me. Sure the game is in Adelaide and the Crows have been playing good football, but the Eagles continue to look unstoppable. They also have a greta record against the Crows. The Eagles are fighting for a chance at the top spot and will be keen to take all the momentum they can get into the finals. These two played back in Round 15 and West Coast won by over 50 points. The margin won’t be that big this time, but expect the Eagles to come away with a win.

We will finish the multi up with the short priced Swans to beat St Kilda. You just go the sense last week that the Swans are starting to play the football we have come to expect from them. Kurt Tippett is fired up and the midfield is gelling. The game being at Etihad helps the Saints, but coming off their tough draw with the Cats last week and the scoring power of the Swans will be too strong for them.
