Round 5 of the AFL season looking like a tough week for betting tips, but with the great value of the Sportsbet multi promotion that gives punters their money back if the 5th leg of a five-leg multi fails! Read on and find out our AFL ‘Multi of the Week’ betting tips.

The big storyline around Friday night’s Carlton Blues Vs. Collingwood Magpies is Mick Malthouse’s coaching record and the big storyline on Saturday morning will be how the Blues couldn’t get over the line on such a big occasion for their coach. Happy to back Matlhouse’s former team here.

Next up we will be looking at Richmond Tigers Vs. Geelong Cats. This is an interesting one considering both teams have struggled so much in the early parts of the season. We will be looking at this one quite simply – the Tigers were awful against the Demons last week and the Cats showed some promise of improvement against the Kangaroos. On that form, we are happy to get on Geelong as the underdog.

On Saturday night it’s North Melbourne Vs. Hawthorn Hawks. Despite having a tough loss to Port Adelaide last week, there is no doubt that the Hawks are the best side in the comp. North Melbourne, meanwhile, were solid against the Cats last week but we just don’t think they have enough in their bag of tricks to beat the Hawks.

While the Roos and Hawks are battling it out in Melbourne, it will be West Coast Eagles Vs. GWS Giants out in Western Australia. Despite all the hype around the Giants, the Eagles have looked solid this year and were impressive in Brisbane last week. The young Giants will be competitive, but ultimately find this one too hard.

The headline game on Sunday afternoon is Adelaide Crows Vs. Port Adelaide Power. It’s a derby in South Australia and while we would usually stay away from these, Port are more confident than ever after beating the Hawks last week and will be keen to keep the momentum going. They will also have had an extra day break, which could make a bit of a difference.
