AFL Round 6 Multi of the Week

AFL Sportsbet Multi

The 2015 AFL season continues this weekend with Round 6 and once again we will be trying to find some value by placing a multi bet using the great-value Sportsbet AFL Multi cash back special if one leg in a five-leg multi fails.

The first match we will be looking at is the Friday night blockbuster – Collingwood Magpies Vs. Geelong Cats. Once again it looks like the bookies are underestimating the in-form team of the competition with Collingwood at a juicy $1.65. Sure, Geelong showed signs of improvement last week but this is the MCG on a Friday night and the Pies are playing magnificent football.

Next up we have Saturday afternoon’s North Melbourne Kangaroos Vs. Richmond Tigers. This is another game where we think the favourite is at juicy odds as we will be happy to get on the Kangaroos at $1.50. The Tigers have been woeful this year and the Roos will be looking to bounce back after a tough loss to the Hawks last week.

We think Western Bulldogs Vs. St Kilda is another simple one, though the Bulldogs are at a little shorter odds than we would like. In saying that, they are in form and playing great football and although the Saints have their skipper back and a couple of other key ins, we are happy to happy to pad the multi with the Bulldogs.

The next one is a twilight game as we turn our attention to GWS Giants Vs. Hawthorn Hawks. The Hawks are paying $1.22 and we dare say that would have been shorter if not for Hodge and Lewis being out after the Nth Melbourne debacle last week. Speaking of last week, the Giants were found out and while we expect them to bounce back at some stage, it won’t be against the Hawks who have plenty of depth to cover the outs of Hodge and Lewis.

There aren’t many options to get some big odds into the multi this week and that’s why we go to the safe option of looking at Melbourne Demons Vs. Sydney Swans. The big story last week was the Bulldogs victory over the Swans and Melbourne will be coming into this game thinking they could do the same thing. However, that just won’t happen. Last week was an anomaly and the Swans will bounce back.
