AFL Round 8 Multi of the Week

CrownBet AFL

All Free Bet’s AFL ‘Multi of the Week’ betting tip continues into Round 8 and this time we will be utilising the CrownBet four-leg multi special that sees punters get a matched bonus bet up to $50 if one leg of a 4+ leg multi fails.

The first game of our multi will be Friday night’s Geelong Cats Vs. Carlton Blues and although the Cats are short-priced, it looks like free money. They got their purr back two weeks ago against Collingwood, but faltered against the Swans last week. This just comes down to having far more class than the struggling Blues, they should get over the line. There is just no reason to think the Blues will improve on their insipid performances of 2015 so far.

After they stung us last week we will once again be getting on the black and white this time in the Gold Coast Suns Vs. Collingwood Magpies game. Sure, this game is up at Metricon Stadium, but the Suns are coming off an almost 100 point loss to West Coast out in the west. The bottom line is that the Suns team is decimated and this is a must-win game for Collingwood.

Next up is the massive Grand Final rematch – Hawthorn Hawks Vs. Sydney Swans. We lean towards the Hawks having plenty of value here at $1.60. The big factor here is the Hawks very impressive record at the MCG. They have simply crushed the Swans on their home turf and with Isaac Smith, Jordan Lewis and Brian Lake due back in the side, we think the Hawks will get over the line.

The final game of our four-leg multi will be Melbourne Demons Vs. Western Bulldogs. If this was at Etihad we would be far more confident on the Bulldogs, but of the remaining games this looks the least suspect. This one comes down to form with the Demons coming off a 105-point defeat last week and the Dogs looking solid against the Freo in what has been an impressive year so far. The Dogs have also won the last four of five against the Demons and we expect that trend to continue.
