EPL Week 20 Multi of the Week

The 2015-16 EPL season continues into the first weekend of the New Year and a lot of teams will be feeling the strain of a tough season as they are forced to play their third game in the space of a week. Last week our multi went 2/4 after our first two legs were losses.

To start this week off we will be taking Norwich City to play out a draw with Southampton at home. Norwich has been able to pick up some big results lately against the top clubs, which has allowed them to push themselves out of the relegation zone but they still have a lot to play for, as they are just three points from falling back into the danger area. Meanwhile, Southampton only find themselves a little bit higher after a huge win against Arsenal last week but a disappointing midweek loss to West Ham.

Arsenal has found themselves back on the top of the table despite suffering a big loss at the hands of Southampton. Mesut Ozil has been back to his dominating best this year and he is on track to break the EPL record for most assists in a single season. Whilst Newcastle United are in the relegation zone and are struggling to stop teams from scoring which is a bad combination for them as they could lose this one by a big margin.

Stoke City has started to fire and after picking up big wins against Manchester United and Everton they have found themselves in the top half of the ladder and on the way up. Their signings over the offseason are now firing and especially their star import from Bayern Munich Xherdan Sharqiri picking up a brace and a contender for goal of the year against Everton midweek. Meanwhile West Brom are continuing to be inconsistent and it is hard to say which team will turn up on the day. Stoke will win this one and continue to push their way up the ladder.

In our final leg we will be taking Crystal Palace to play out a draw with Chelsea at home. Crystal Palace is currently sitting in fifth position on the ladder and if it wasn’t for the rise of Leicester City they could be one of the fairy tale stories of the season. They are a quality side and they were able to defeat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season, which saw the beginning of the downfall for the Blues. Since ditching Jose Mourinho, the results haven’t changed for Chelsea as they have suffered back-to-back draws and aren’t showing any signs of improvement.
