NRL Round 5 Multi Of the Week

Our NRL multis so far this season have finished with 3/5 on every occasion. The Rabbitohs and Sea Eagles let us down last week but we are at it again this week and there are a few matches with good odds and we will look to take advantage of them.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are up against Bulldogs outfit that has won their last three matches in a row and are also welcoming back State of Origin incumbent Josh Reynolds and also star centre Tim Lafai. However, they will again be without Brett Morris at the back and with the Rabbitohs looking to bounce back after last week’s disappointment, I have them winning this one.

The Brisbane Broncos have come to life since defeating the Sharks and they have won the last three in a row. Anthony Milford has come under the spot light this week after it was revealed he has yet to have a line break, try or line break assist in his opening four matches. I expect him to come out firing this week and the Titans won’t be able to stop it.

I don’t think anyone would have predicted the Knights to be sitting on the top of the ladder as the only undefeated team after the opening four rounds. However, that is what has happened and as they come up against the Dragons this weekend it is likely they will continue their unbeaten run. The Dragons have an outstanding record at Newcastle but I don’t expect that to continue this weekend as the Knights are a totally different side then what we have seen over the last two years.

The Sydney Roosters is our “sure thing” this week as they are short-priced favourites against the Sharks. The Roosters have lost Blake Fergurson for four months but that shouldn’t hurt them too much in this one as the Sharks are looking like the worst side in the competition so far this season whilst the Roosters are being one of the best.

To round out our multi we have the Parramatta Eels who shocked the league last week with a win against the Rabbitohs. Despite their injury worries they turned up and outclassed their opponent. Their forwards were up to the task and they will need to be again this weekend. I expect the Wests Tigers to put up a fight but ultimately it will come down to their inexperience letting them down again.
