NRL Round 7 Multi of the Week

Our Sportsbet NRL multi of the week fell short last week after a promising start. This week there are a lot of close head-to-head matches adding great value to the accumulator.

The Brisbane Broncos head to Jubilee Oval for what could be the match of the round. The Broncos have won five straight whilst the Dragons have won four. They both find themselves on the top of the ladder and a win for the Broncos would be massive. The Broncos welcome back captain Justin Hodges giving a massive boost to the side.

The Sea Eagles also have their captain returning to the side as Jamie Lyon was named to start in the centres. His experience and goal kicking was greatly needed for Manly as they find themselves on the bottom of the ladder. The Bulldogs will be without international players James Graham, David Klemmer and Brett Morris whilst Josh Morris was named but is expected to miss the match. The loss up front will lower their go forward whilst the losses in the backline will hurt as Tim Lafai also sits on the sideline.

The Penrith Panthers are another side that has been hit with massive injuries to key players. They take on the Titans who they dismantled earlier in the year in the second round but both sides will take to the field looking very different. The Titans have improved after Greg Inglis and Dave Taylor were cleared to play whilst the Panthers have lost their halves pairing of Jamie Soward and Peter Wallace and also their centres Jamal Idris and Dean Whare.

The Cowboys have won three straight and are looking like a much better side with Michael Morgan at five eighth and Lachlan Coote at fullback. Johnathan Thurston is thriving on his new partner in the halves and he has returned to his best as he earned three main of the match performances in a row. The Warriors escaped with a win last week but are always poor on the road.

The South Sydney Rabbitohs will have John Sutton back in the line up this weekend despite him not being named and it is also possible to have Dylan Walker return in the centres too. The Sharks have thrived on the back of Jack Bird starring at five eighth in their last two victories. The Rabbitohs will be relying on another strong performance from their forwards and especially George Burgess to allow them to get over the line in this one.
