Fabricio Werdum vs Travis Browne

Despite getting beaten up for 5 rounds against Fabricio Werdum the last time they fought, Travis Browne had Werdum hurt on multiple occasions. He is going to need to capitalize on one of those moments here because Werdum is the much better on all round MMA fighter. I expect Werdum to be able to avoid the big shots and earn a late finish or a one-sided scorecard.

CM Punk vs Mickey Gall

You have to give CM Punk credit. At 37 years of age he gave up a cushy, high paying job as one of the premier wrestler’s in the WWE to get punched in the face in his underwear in front of crowd full of people eagerly anticipating his downfall. As much as I want him to prove everyone wrong, two injury plagued years are not enough time to catch up and I think Mickey Gall should win this pretty easily.

Urijah Faber vs Jimmie Rivera

Unfortunately at 37 years of age, we are getting to the stage where we are seeing steady fight-to-fight deterioration from ‘the Californian kid’ Urijah Faber. Jimmie Rivera has an excellent opportunity to make a name for himself as the first non-champion to beat Faber in the UFC and he has the perfect skillset to do it. Rivera to win an entertaining, but dominant decision.

Jessica Eye vs Bethe Correia

This might be a loser leaves town fight, with Jessica Eye and Bethe Correia on three and two fight losing streaks respectively. Ronda Rousey showed that if you pressure Correia she turns into little more than a punching bag and Eye is a significantly better striker than Rousey. This fight will probably go to decision and we can hopefully rely on some home-cooked judging for the Cleveland native Eye to help get her hand raised.

Brad Tavares vs Caio Magalhaes

This fight is just a bad style match up for Caio Magalhaes. Brad Tavares is a solid striker with excellent takedown defence. Magalhaes is a submission expert with poor takedown offense. Other than a crazy KO, I see Tavares cruising to a 30-27 decision.
