UFC 212 Multi

UFC 212 goes down this Sunday in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. While the cards lacks star power, it is chock full of interesting match ups and has a number of interesting debuts. Read on for our UFC 212 multi bets.

Jose Aldo vs Max Holloway
This fight is an absolute barn burner. Holloway is a phenomenal striker who regularly rips out video-game like combinations. He has one of the highest output volumes in the UFC and has shown he can maintain that over 5 rounds. He is up against one of the most well-rounded and technically gifted strikers to ever grace the UFC. A tough one to call; but leg kicks, home ground advantage, experience and most importantly, leg kicks, mean I’m siding with the Jose Aldo to defend his belt.

Claudia Gadelha vs Karolina Kowalkiewicz
Simply put, this is a striker vs grappler match up. Kowalkiewicz will have the technical striking advantage, while Gadelha is light years ahead grappling. The difference is while Gadelha can hang, and might even find success on the feet; Kowalkiewicz will be completely outclassed on the ground. Add to that the intangibles of game plan, athleticism, chin and power and I heavily favour Claudia Gadelha to get it done.

Vitor Belfort vs Nate Marquadt
I’m fading both these fighters here. Both have deteriorating chins and a propensity for violence. This one could end with the very first punch, don’t blink. I lean towards Belfort but will be betting the under 1.5.

Marlon Moraes vs Raphael Assuncao
This will mark the UFC debut of former WSOF champion Moraes who won 11 straight fights in the promotion. The UFC have done him no favours in this first match up. Assuncao is a gritty veteran who has won 8 of his last 9 UFC fights and is notoriously hard to look good against. But I’m all aboard the hype train and I expect Marlon Moraes to eek out a decision here and start making waves in the division.

Marco Beltrán vs Deiveson Figueiredo
Figueiredo is an exciting new addition to a flyweight division desperately in need of fresh match ups. He has amassed an 11-0 record in the difficult jungle fights promotion and 10 of his wins have come by finish, particularly impressive for a flyweight. I think the UFC have given him a good stylistic match up here and I expect Deiveson Figueiredo to make short work of his opponent.
