If both these guys are in their prime I think Lombard wipes the floor with the overmatched Magny. But if at 38 and coming off a long layoff, Lombard is a little gun shy, Magny definitely has the ability to work his jab and wins rounds. Ultimately I’m picking Hector Lombard to lift in front of packed home crowd and either get the KO or win a grappling based decision.
Daniel Kelly vs Antonio Carlos Junior
This is some rough matchmaking for the hometown crowd. They have pitted 38 year old Australian Olympic Judoka Kelly with dangerous Brazilian submission artist Carlos Jnr. I’d love to see Kelly work his clinch game and get another big upset victory, but Antonio Carlos Junior’s speed, power and technical advantages will see him get the job done.
Bec Rawlings vs Seohee Ham
Here we have straightforward striker vs grappler affair. Ham is a kickboxer and Rawlings is predominantly a ground fighter. Ham will be the much smaller fighter and if Rawlings can get this one to the ground regularly I think she can win rounds or force a stoppage. But I think the South Korean Seohee Ham is far more likely to stay out of range and pick her opponent apart en route to a unanimous decision.
Brendan O’Reilly vs Alan Jouban
This is going to be another tough one for the Australian fans. Local boy O’Reilly is pitted against an opponent who is better than him at just about everything. I’m picking Versace model Alan Jouban to win this relatively easily.

The fightpass main event is my pick to be fight of the night. It’s a bout between two high level strikers. I think Pearson will have a slight boxing advantage, but Chad Laprise’s size, kicks and takedown threat should mean he wins a back and forth decision.
